Read the Overview
GeoTract opens on Overview. The page answers one question: what needs attention across the work you are allowed to see. It is not a second reporting dashboard — use Reports and dashboards for filtered measures, totals, and exports.
Overview sits at the top of the left navigation, above the spatial and focused groups, and is always available from there.
How the ledger reads
The page is one table with a row for each module that reports outstanding work. Where a module has something waiting on a person, those records are listed immediately beneath its row, so a count and the records it counts are the same subject rather than two lists you have to reconcile.

Rows are ordered by their most serious item, so the work that matters most is at the top and modules with nothing outstanding fall to the bottom. Within the same seriousness, the order is fixed, so the page does not reshuffle between visits.
The heading is calculated from the lines actually shown. If a module drops out of the page, its line, its clause in the sentence, and one from the total go with it. A heading that disagrees with the lines beneath it is a defect worth reporting, not a rounding difference.
What each module raises

A crew working offline is not raised. Disconnected field work is the product behaving as designed, and a page that called it an exception would teach people to ignore the page.
Timber, Registers, Reporting, and Board portal do not contribute rows. Open them from the left navigation.
Zero is never shown
A module with nothing outstanding reads Clear and carries its volume count
only. You will not see an exception count of 0 beside the word Clear, and a
volume of zero is not drawn either. Absence of a number is the answer.
What the page does not do
- Nothing is edited or dismissed here. An item disappears when the record that produced it changes in the module that owns it. There is no mark-as-done, so the page cannot disagree with the record.
- Refresh is the only control. Create records in the module that owns them, and use the header search to reach a module.
- No map. Open the record from its item line; the owning module offers the map where it applies.
What you are not shown
Modules your account cannot open are absent from the ledger, not listed with a zero, and a footnote beneath the page names them. A zero would state the size of something you may not see.
Counts are the same authorized results you would get inside the module itself, so records held back from you are not counted, and the page gives no sign that anything was held back. See Roles and sensitive data.
When a module cannot be reached
The module fails inside its own row, reading Could not be reached with a retry button naming it, and a message at the top of the page names the module and the time. Every other module is still reporting, so the rest of the page is still accurate. Retry the named module before treating the page as unavailable.
While the page is still counting, the heading reads Checking seven modules… — the number being however many modules your account can open — and rows hold their place until every module has answered, so nothing moves under your pointer.
Keyboard and assistive technology
The ledger is a region named Needs attention across modules. Every item states its condition as a word as well as a shape and colour, so the page reads the same without colour. Each count link says where it goes — "1 overdue in Work orders — opens the filtered list" — so no two links in a row sound alike.
